Once you've received your provisional licence you can legally drive on the UK roads provided you are accompanied by an appropriate person and are aged 17 or older. If you have applied for your provisional prior to your 17th birthday its important to note that you are not eligible to drive until you're 17 and have received and your signed provisional licence. You are allowed to practice in private land ahead of receiving a provisional licence but remember that car parks, residential areas or any area connected to a public highway, regardless of ownership, are seen as areas for public use and it is illegal for anyone underage or not holding licence to drive in there.

If you've got your provisional licence, you can make an enquiry or book a lesson with eDrivingSchool today. Just go to the Book Lessons section where you can book a lesson with one of our instructors at no charge, you just select your time and you pay nothing until the day of the lesson.

If you'd prefer to speak to one of our booking team on 0845 226 7649 and they will be able to answer any questions you might have and help you get booked in with the right instructor for your needs.
